Chatterbox

This language pack contains 72 conversation "starter" cards to promote discussion and conversation. They are deliberately open ended to encourage reflection on personal experience and development of social awareness. (The cards come in a clear plastic box. A summary sheet of background information is provided.)

Uses: Chatterbox will assist students’ confidence in communicating their opinions and ideas. It is an ideal tool for small group discussion as well as individual or group language therapy. Cards are also suitable as prompts for discourse assessment and written language.

Target Population: Primary and secondary students and older clients with language impairment or those learning English as a second language.
