WORKSHOP 3: PUPPETS FOR LEARNING: SPEECH, LANGUAGE, LITERACY AND SOCIAL SKILLS - Sept 5th 2014
This popular workshop teaches you how to use puppets to engage, model, teach and inspire. It's NOT about performing a puppet show. Learn how to make a puppet come alive and use puppets to address a range of teaching goals. Each participant makes a great puppet to take home.

What is grammar? Should it be "taught"? How can we make the learning fun and meaningful? This workshop covers development and disorders of grammar. Using Pelican Talk's Alien Talk program, we tackle the production and understanding of simple sentences. The afternoon of this workshop tackles complex sentences. Each participant receives the Alien Talk CD (valued at $70) and a USB stick full of grammar goodies! Download Teaching Grammar Flier and Registration Form
